This higher water level allows you to wear them continuously for a month and then ......using the SofLens Comfort by Bausch & Lomb.I usually purchase my disposable lenses on a three-monthly basis i.e. 6 lenses at a time. The SofLens Comfort come in boxes of 3 lenses and each lens is inserted in distilled water filled blister strip cavity. You simply need to peel of the silver film on top of each cavity and remove the lens. This is a convenient and economical packaging method, which in no way jeopardizes the quality of the product.... My first contact lenses were soft but they required the use of two solutions and disinfection once a week, which meant inserting a little pill in the contact lenses case. Being so young and an air head I often ended up placing the contacts in my eyes with the wrong solution (it hurts!) and my mother had to constantly nag about the maintenance of these lenses. This went on until I developed ......the ophthalmologist said. I cried my eyes out with the thought of having to wear my thick ugly glasses. Fortunately my optician (not the doctor) figured the problem was the solution and not the lenses. From then on I was prescribed monthly disposal contact lenses with one solution, and was advised never to keep the contacts in my eyes for more than 8 hours as a precaution, since I have very dry eyes.
